How to accommodate power, standby, and slumber settings

You can arrange the power, standby, and sleep settings in Microsoft Windows and through the CMOS setup. Select a link below for where you desire to adjust the settings.

Windows Vista, seven, 8, and 10

Tip

Laptop users tin too click the ability icon in their notification area to get to the power settings.

  1. Open the Control Panel.
  2. Click Hardware and Audio.
  3. Click Power options or Modify ability-saving settings.
  4. Click the Change Program link under any of the plans to get the Edit Programme Settings window as shown below. Through CMOS setup

Computers running variants of Linux or other operating systems may also desire to disable the power settings through CMOS setup. In CMOS setup, a power category allows you to enable and disable power management.
